Hello everyone! welcome back to my blog. Today i will explain to you about suggestion, i will also give you the examples.

SUGGESTION

Suggestion means giving people a particular idea by associating it with other ideas.

When making suggestions, we often use the following expressions :

- Let's...

- Why don't we...

- What about...

- I think...

Accepting suggestions example :

- Yes, that's a good idea

- I will do that

- Okay, let's go

Declining suggestions example :

- I don't think that's a good idea

- No, i don't think so

- Sorry, we can't do that

That is the explanation of suggestion. Now, i will show you a dialogue of giving a suggestion.

Salma : Hello, Zahra! What are you doing right now?

Zahra : Oh, hi Salma. I am choosing a gift for my mom, because her birthday is in next week.

Salma : I see. What gift are you planning to buy?

Zahra : I still haven't decide. I'm so confused, i don't know what to buy.

Salma : How about a sewing machine? your mom loves to sew, right?

Zahra : Yes, you're right, she loves to sew. But, i don't think i will give her a sewing machine because she already has it.

Salma : Then, you should give her a flower bouquet. I'm sure that she will like it

Zahra : Ah, i don't think so. She's not not a big fan of flowers.

Salma : Oh! What about a sportswear? I remember you told me that she loves working out at home.

Zahra : That's actually a good idea! I think i will give her a sportswear. Thank you for your suggestioon!

Salma : You're welcome.
