CAUSE AND EFFECT
In composition, cause and effect is a method of para
graph or essay development in which a writer analyzes the reasons for—and/or the consequences of—an action, event, or decision.
A cause-and-effect paragraph or essay can be organized in various ways. For instance, causes and/or effects can be arranged in either chronological order or reverse chronological order. Alternatively, points can be presented in terms of emphasis, from least important to most important, or vice versa.
Cause explain why something happened, and effect explain the results of what happened.
There are also a conjunction to connect the cause and effect. The conjunction divided by two types, which are :
1. Conjunction followed by clause
This conjunction needs a subject and predicate. Example : because, as, since, for as a result of.
2. Conjunction followed by frasa/gerund
This conjunction only followed by a gerund, without a predicate. Example : due to, because of, owing to, thanks to.
